My Story

Welcome to Captain Getaways! I'm thrilled to share my journey with you. Growing up in Columbia, Maryland I had little exposure to water, but that all changed when I began working on the water during my college years in Ocean City, MD. As a jet ski guide and boat rental specialist, I quickly immersed myself in the world of boating and water adventures. My dedication and passion for the job led to my promotion as the assistant rental manager at just 20 years old, where I gained invaluable knowledge and countless days on the water.

Driven to further my career and love for the sea, I pursued my captain's license during my Junior year of college and shortly after, I graduated from Towson University with a degree in Communications. My determination took me to Hilton Head, South Carolina, where I captained a 29 ft dolphin charter, honing my skills and gaining invaluable experience. Now, proudly based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, I've combined the expertise I've gathered over the years to create Captain Getaways, my very own charter company.

My goal is to provide guests with exceptional experiences on the water, filled with adventure, joy, and lasting memories.
